geez louise. If you got exceeds expectations on everything where is there room for improvement? You might consider teaching others (poster or staff meeting presentation). I always connect mine to the latest goals in the facility, like FEMA or some other initiative. What can I do to make those successful in my unit? Like customer service, HCAHPS, etc
Make it fun, the post above had some great ideas.
There is Research: A nurse in one of my facilities done a study on Humor, and found that out of 1,324 replies, ONLY 3 said that humor had no place in Healthcare. She now dresses as a clown for orientation (classroom part) for new grad RN's and you should see the stress and tension melt off their faces, and their energy levels peaking
There is Training: If you are part of a teaching hospital, is their things you could do to be a more prepared facilitator. You could check out being a BLS trainer, this is extreme, just a horizon thought.
There is Specialty: Is there a SUBcategory of your niche your interested in? Like you could still be a Med-Surg nurse, but some are very interested in Endocrine, Nephrology, Cardiology, etc. You could say you want to strengthen your knowledge base upon a certain population.
There is Foreign Language: Obtaining just the basic conversational words of a language secondary to what is normal in your area could make a huge impact on minority patient satisfaction. I find that Hispanic patients are much more at ease when you attempt communication in their tongue, even if it's just Conversational- and your afraid to Assess with it.
What ever you do, make it FUN. That way you will even enjoy doing this assignment from your NM!
Best of Luck!

My supervisor did my evaluation today and wants me to come up with three areas of improvement with a plan/action for each. I have one: continue education, which I am doing. I am drawing a blank on two more. I got exceeds expectations on everything so I can't use those. Thank you for help.
