Hello, I tried to get a response from anyone that has dealt with drug/alcohol abuse within the nursing field. I am a recovering addict/alcoholic and I find it totally amazing how little the nurses know about addiction. Is there anyone that reads these postings that would know what happens at the state level when your case for licensure reinstatement comes up? I am only trying to get as much information as I can to present a well rounded summary of what I have done in my recovery. Has anyone gone thru this experience either themselves or a friend? I know that I am not alone..... thank you DANNEL
