why I want to be a nurse essay

I have written this essay I don'r know how many times, It sounds like I am repeating myself or am just forgetting things. Or it sounds just plain stupid. It has to be a page in a half at the least. Did anyone else have to write this essay

Yes, when I applied to nursing school I was required to write a essay, The hardest part was getting started but once I got started I had to force myself to put down my pen it was starting to get way too long.

should I start it out with with a paragraph or so talking about myself, I wish I finished my schooling when I was younger, No I am so old I feel like I have forgotten everything........

Just put down your true feelings....why do you really want to be a nurse? Because you want to ease the world "one patient at a time" (saw that on someone's signature line) or because you need the better pay? Just be yourself and be truthful....and you'll do great!
