I mean, not a pinning ceremony (white uniforms are there for us), but official college graduation, where you suppose to wear cap and a gown. Our college website says, white or solid dress and black shoes are recommended. I really have no dresses (especially white ones), and was planning to wear white blouse, cream-colored pants and black boots. Do you think I'll be in violation of dress code? :rotfl:

You should check because if the dress code is strict, they may not let you walk across the stage!!!

When I graduated the first time I think most of the women wore dresses....Not b/c of a dress code, but that's just what we all wore. They didn't tell us what color shoes to wear, that's for sure! I'd check with your school's policies though

When I got my first Bachelor's I wore a nice pair of high-heeled shoes with a lovely suit my mum made for me.
When I got my second degree I wore a pair of patent leather red shoes and a dark red pant suit.
When I got my masters, I wore a pair of high top Chuck Taylor's.
This time, I am wearing shorts and a pair of flip-flops.
