I am so disappointed. I started weight watchers two weeks ago and have not lost a pound. I am not even using all of the flex points. What am I doing wrong?

littlefeet, are you measuring and weighing everything that you eat? I tried ww before and tried to just guess at the serving size of everything. I was like you and didn't lose anything. It was definitely frustrating because everybody else seemed to lose weight except me. This time, however, I bought a scale the first night and put it on the counter with my measuring cups and spoons. I have lost 11.6 pounds so far in 3 weeks. Also, make sure that you are exercising and drinking plenty of water. And don't forget to write down everything that you eat, no matter how small. Don't give up, you can do it.

I am in the last part of my semester in school and I haven't been exercising very often. My other problem is that I hate water. I try to drink it but I do good for a few days and then I just don't drink it. I know it sounds like an excuse but as soon as my finals are done I will have more time to committ to the regular exercise. My friend at school hasn't been exercising and she has lost 5 pounds. So maybe I will just try and do 30 minutes in the morning to start. Thanks for the advise.

For the water, you could try to add slices of lemon or lime to it. Or you could add some crystal light to it too. Just make it a habit of keeping the bottle with you all the time and taking little sips throughout the day. You didn't say if you are weighing and measuring your food. That is what makes the most difference, in my opinion. With exercise, it doesn't have to be anything too formal. Maybe some situps and pushups in the morning, a bit of weight exercises with small weights, park a little further away from places you go to, etc. Little bits spread throughout the day would be a good way for you to fit it in without devoting a large amount of time at any one time.

My mom is on weight watchers too. We measure our food together. My mom is a lifetime member and she swears by the "lifestyle". She says because I only have about 15 pounds to loose that it's not going to come off as fast as I think it should and that I need to be patient. She says if I eat how I am supposed to and like you said drink my water (I will try the crystal light thing) and exercise more....that eventually I will begin to notice the weight coming off. The problem is I am one of those people who like instant results. I got instant results with the South Beach Diet but I felt sick all the time and of course gained the weight back, plus some. I am really going to give this a shot. Thanks for all your help.

Don't be too discouraged. The first week I did squat then it dropped after that. This fourth week I've only lost one pound. At least I didn't gain. Good luck to all and don't give up.

I get discouraged sometimes because I have so much to lose. I started out figuring out when I should be done if I lose at least 2 pounds a week. While I know this is quite optomistic, I tend to be very hopeful. Anyways, when I start feeling blue about not quite making that goal last week, I remember a quote that I found on http://www.dwlz.com

It says: Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway.
