Video Lectures?

Does anyone know of any place to obtain video lectures? Does your school have them available? I know a lot of schools have podcasts available of the lectures (my little university doesn't, but some students record them). Where can I get my hands on them? :) Right now I'm studying the heart in med-surg and I wish I could just watch a lecture on it! (I suppose I could just audio-record the lectures and then look at my powerpoints, but it just doesn't feel the same! :p)

I was thinking back to when I was younger; my parents had me homeschooled by a home school company that videotaped classes and mailed them out to us. This was actually highly effective for me and I learned a lot, but I quit homeschooling in grade school and switched to public school. When I entered high school and college, it was harder for me to pay attention, maybe partly due to the fact that the class sizes were much bigger than my grade school class size of 1. ;)

Anyway, I have videos for nursing skills on dvds, but I haven't found a company that makes one that is just lectures, so if anyone could help me out, I'd like to try it out and see if this helps me! I know the things we learn as children stay with us for a long time, so maybe the way we learned as children would also benefit us as adults. Just a thought...

Oh..oh OH!! My favorite FAVORITE online lectures are on youtube... campbell teaching is username... Just type in campbellteachingheart and you'll find them. He is SO good. He also has a website where you can order his DVD lectures. When I ordered them last year he was charging 2$ each, plus shipping.. He's from the UK... Good luck!

I'll endorse campbellteaching as well. Search around youtube and google vids. You might be surprised by what you can find.

Thanks, everyone! I will definitely be looking up campbellteaching. :) I do utilize youtube at times, but sometimes it can be hard to sift through all the hits to find what I need, so this helps a lot!
