What is your study plan? As far has how much do you read and how much do you review a day.

Do you study before class, after class, everyday, just before a test?

Any answers would be helpful

Thanks

I do a little studying everyday. I also try to read what we are going to cover in class before class. After class, I review and do/start my homework immediately and then I try to review something for at least 30 minutes or so a day. My notebooks are never far away. I always review for a test right before the test. I try to get to school early and review in the student lounge.

I am only into my 2nd quarter of school, but I do not feel overwhelmed at all. The trick for me is staying on top of everything and attend EVERY class. Stay organized!

Good luck!

Warning** please forgive my OCD studying methods but here goes....Studying everyday has begun very routine for me at least 2hrs I never go to bed before 1AM. Sometimes I accidentally fall asleep @ night only to suddenly jump up to say "oh no I forgot to read" lol...My method is simple but does require highlighters, pen, pencil and a couple sheets of paper. Before lecture, of course, I tend to survey then read information (no highlighting) only little check marks on info you "think" instructor will go over w/ pencil. Make sure to write a question with an answer (in the book) near each section. That way during class it is easier for you to retain & know what the instructor will possibly ask. Write an outline of that chapter (in pen) then during lecture just add on additional information (with pencil). Now, if the instructor mentions important items for test purpose, THEN highlight using only 1 color for that chapter. When it is time to really begin studying for the test (@ least week in advance) re-read the chapter aloud & use a different color highlighter for missed info or additional info. It is also helpful to use a weekly calendar printout to fill in & break down the chapter(s) before you study. Make sure to post it so you can see it everyday, that way you won’t get behind & stay on schedule. You should have notes organized and only reviewing the night before. (this way you will not be up all night) If a study guide is given...take the time to type up the questions with answers!! Then on test day you can just pack a copy for last minute quick review before the actual test begin. I hope this info is helpful!!

I read and type up important info as I go through the reading.....then for test time I print that and study that as well as my powerpoints. I only study the day or 2 before the test....BUT typing up the infor is technically studying and is really good for remembering.
