Pharmacology Flash Cards

As a medical student, we use flash cards to memorize what we need to know for Pharmacology. My cousin is about to finish her 2nd year at her nursing school and asked me for some help in pharmacology. I was wondering if someone here could recommend what they think is the best resource for pharmacology for nursing students. If there are specific flash cards that nurses use, please let me know, I'll be very grateful. I know there are many things that can be found on the internet, but I'd like some recommendations on what is good before making any purchase.

i have had a lot of ppl tell me that the Kaplan Review Pharm cards are the most helpful. that and you are also reviewing for boards at the same time.. gl

I must say that I purchase them recently to prepare for the exit as well as NCLEX exam and I really find them helpful and fun in reviewing and remebering the meds.

1 question on the kaplan review cards... are the Kaplan Pharmo cards different then the cards for nursing different then for their USMLE prep?

Yes because when you flip them they have a column called "Nursing considerations" which prepares nurses what to watch for in the meds,what to avoid

I made my own pharm flash cards while in nursing school. Because I'm a kinetic learner, the actual act of writing down the information helped me to remember it. Also, I used markers to write the meds from the same family all in the same color (I made beta-blockers the color red, like a "stop" sign and epi and atropine were "green" for "go").
