thanks for barging in! Engraving is a great idea. I'm just wondering if it would be hard to identify your scope from a distance. I want a big, visible tag that I can keep across the floor and say "thats mine" Engraving is a good idea though! Where did you get your done at?

well, to be honest, i have both a tag and engraving on mine. "things remembered" did the engraving.

I got the metal one at a medical supply convention... but littman has a high density reinforced plastic tag that you have to order separately, i think it is about 10 bucks, and it is very hard to take off, it has to be cut with bolt cutters, and can not be pulled apart or off.

Hey jessjoy,

I think we are in the same program. I haven't gotten any info on having to get a stethoscope as of yet. Orientation is on the 22, but I didn't know we had to have one so soon! Are you ahead of the game or am I missing something???

Hi! No, I haven't received any info regarding getting a scope. I have been working more hours because I am not in school and decided this would be a good time for me to purchase one. Don't worry, you aren't behind on any info.

Also, on my info packet it says that we can pick up our syllabus as of August 1st. in the bookstore. I am going today to see if it's there. I'll let ya know if you want :)
