Opinions needed!

Nursing Students General Students

I'm doing a survey as part of one of my assignments and would

love your personal opinion on the following:

What is your opinion or thought on the relationship between mathematics and the sciences.

All of your opinions are welcomed and appreciated!

Susie

Math is a science.

Math is an integral part of all science.

It's seems I got more answers from my fellow classmates with our discussion than the nursing students on this website!

Is it always so dead around here?

Do people who ask opinions or are new not fit into your clique?

Or is it you cannot answer a simple question?

I bet I get alot of answers to these questions that bear absolutely no meaning to me!

PS: Don't bother answering the above questions, just wanted to see if it would grab your attention!

C'est la vie!

Susie

I guess I don't really understand what you are asking, since math is a science. If you could give more specifics, I'd be happy to try and answer your question. And, yes, it usually is quiet around here during the day, since many of us are in school or at work.

You get more bees with honey then with lemon.

I have never felt there is a clique going on.

To me the question is unclear as to what avenue you wish to pursue. The dynamics of talking one on one with your classmates is obviously easier since you make eye contact and can feel out each other as to what you are asking.

Math is a Science... it is pretty basic.... Science involves methodology, research based data, and fundamental laws.

What are you looking for? The differnces between the two?

Like the poster above said, Attitude is everything.

The question isn't very clear.

Ask another, you might get better answers.

Someone please tell me why people think they can post once, and then have the right to blast those of us who enjoy this forum? I agree, the question is unclear. But aside from that, do you go into Rome and start telling the Italians that they make pizza wrong? I have always felt welcomed by the students and nurses on this forum. Sometimes a post doesn't get answered because no one understands/cares/feels qualified to comment/has anything to add. This is not a clique, and the people here are not clicky. Perhaps you have a complex about being excluded. Why don't you try "acting as if" you fit in and see what happens instead of projecting your insecurity onto us? I am personally offended by your post. As I tell my students, "when you are ready to be polite, you may re-join us".

* sigh* someone else out to try and upset us.....Maybe she or he didn't have the midterms to study for like we all did....thats why I have been away...anyone else? Oh well....maybe they won't come back....

I agree that the question is vague at best. As far as being "clicky", how can you have a clique when...

1. We all use screen names.

2. We don't hang around together.

3. We wouldn't know each other if we ran into each other????

Geesh....talk about being judgemental!!!

I love this board and the anonymity of it!! It's a "safe place" for all to come, get opinions, and vent without fear of retribution!!
