The first thing to do is to fill out the FAFSA online. All aid is based on that application. Take loans if you need to. The interest is at an all time low and when you graduate, you will be able to afford a $100 per month payment. You don't start paying back until 6 months after graduation. Dont' worry about the debt. Do what you need to do.

Nursing scholarships are usually only available once you are officially accepted into a nursing program. So, for your pre-nursing prereqs, you can't find too many nursing scholarships.

Check at your local hospitals to see if they have tuition reimbursment programs in exchange for you working for them. You could work as transport, a unit clerk, cafeteria, etc.

another option is to work part-time. Have you checked with your school counselor? Tried to do a Google on "nursing grants or scholarships"? Talked to the financial aid dept at the nursing school? Good luck in your career.
