Was in OB (want to be an OB nurse after grad) and got to observe a c-section (got picked out of my clinical group), do a newborn assessment on two babies, comforted a baby during a circ and see the NICU and a 23 wk old baby in there...and that was just orientation! I think I am going to love this clinical! But man, do I have lots to learn.
Congratulations! That's what clinical is all about. You get to see the layers of medicine in action and get to decide what you would like to specialize in. Keep having fun!
There is nothing better than a good day at clinical, nothing worse than a bad day. I have worked OB for 25 years and have never gotten tired of it. Good luck.
