Have to share.... I am being honored

I served our class in an officer position as Mentor since Fundamentals.

We finished on Thursday and I just found out tonight that the class voted to honor me at pinning.

They are honoring me because of all the work I put in to tutoring and mentoring ( most of) the class for the last 2 years.

It supposedly was going to be a surprise but they know I am an emotional person so they forewarned me.. LOL

Let me tell you THIS is what it is all about. I will eventually forget about the stress and the tests and the riff raff.......but I will always remember being honored.

Truthfully now that I know I dont know HOW I will NOT SOB on stage. Just THINKING about it makes me sob.

Too bad for me!!! I stayed up all night with my fellow students to help. Now that we're on vacation, nobody even calls me. They did not even say thanks.

That's terrible. I cant even imagine how that must feel. My class didnt " come together" really until the last semester...I see you grad in '08. I certainly hope your classmates are respectful enough by then to thank you for your hard work.
