What does he mean by "holding paitients and students HOSTAGE" He is pulling students into this as a fight/scare tactic! Grrrrrrrrr Any thoughts Canadaians (BC??)

He's the reason I left the province. I haven't regretted it for a second. I love BC, but the disrespect our Premier has shown for nurses (and most workers for that matter) is just too much. My advice, write the CNATs, then the NCLEX and get the heck out of there if you can, cause things are gonna get REALLY ugly when the nurses get to negotiating.

I was there for the last contract negotiations and I wanted to barf at the way they smeared nurses. I was still working full time with overtime allowed by BCNU during the work to rule campaign and I had a woman in a supermarket start yelling at me for being on strike and not caring for my patients!! Government propaganda goes a long way in the public...
