Does anyone know of any good sources for financial aid for nursing school, besides going the FAFSA route through the US Dept. of Education? You always hear about those web sites that charge you money for a listing of all this supposedly free money from the government, and I've been warned away from trying that route.
Any ideas? I already have a degree, so I'm quitting my full-time job to go to school full-time for a career change. I know lots of people on this board are in (or have been in) my same position. What worked for you?
Thanks!
amy
There are hospitals in our area of WI that are repaying part or all of the student loans for new RNs. Many hospitals also offer tuition reimbursement to staff. You might get hired as a nursing assistant which would give you valuable experience in a medical setting as well as help pay for your education. Good Luck!

Buttercup,
Does pm go to my private email address? If so, I'll get the message when I get home. Thank you!
