Take a look at http://www.deaconess.edu

The physical school is in St Louis. They are 100 years old, well respected, and they have fully online ADN and BSN programs. They're pricey. But you're dealing with people who only educate nurses.

Hi Dr. Kate,

Went to the Deaconess website and read for about an hour.

All their credentials are in check. The programs sound fine.

Isn't Missouri is the "show me" state? Well I need someone to show me where in the nursing catalog is the information regarding who can be admitted into the nursing program.

I found everything about concerning the on campus information but for the online program I haven't been able to find anything other than those who already have their LPN and are interested in completeing the ADN portion.

Also for the BSN a person would have a preceptor in their geographic area. What about the ADN program, how do you complete the clinical portion?

I will contact the school on Monday but in the mean time if anyone has any info, I would appreciate your input.

Tks

C:)
