How to deal with clumsiness? I used to be clumsy before which is one hindrance or sign that I am not fitted in a medical field. But I love being in it. The good thing is that I am not that clumsy as before only sometimes. I want to get rid of it for good but how?

As with anything, you practice, practice, practice. How did you learn to tie your shoes? You did it a hundred times. It's the same thing. No one is perfect at doing anything the first time, or the first few times. If you are, then you're some kind of genius. After you've given 500 injections, started a thousand IVs and inserted a couple hundred foley catheters then come back and tell me you are still clumsy! Until then, you keep putting one foot in front of the other and doing your best.

For me, I am most clumsy when my mind is on the next thing I have to do rather than the task at hand. (Although another person might be clumsy when hyperfocussed and watching themself too closely).

You slow waaaaayyyyyy down and take as much time as you need to make sure you've got it right.

Really.

My problem sometimes is that when I hold on to something it slips unintentionally or I might touch other stuff along the way which shouldn't be.
