89.8% that what my final score ended up being for the semester. My school does NOT round up! So I end up with a "B" for my first semester of nursing school. I know thats good, but 2/10 of a point IS SO AGGRAVATING!

I had a 4.0 until this semester (I'm a 3rd semester ADN student). My final put me in solid "B" territory. My type A inner voice silently mourns for my GPA, but I am grateful to have passed and now look forward to devoting my efforts to what really matters--my family. That is, until school starts upin January. Then they will have to go back to fending for themselves.

I think that what frustrates me is that when I get a grade such as yours and get a B and a student who makes an 80 gets a B...sometimes I wonder why I kill myself for high grades, but it is hard to change the my mindset. I guess part of it is returning to school after a time away pushes me to excel almost out of defense. Instead of being looked down upon that I'm going to school full-time and not working, my higher grades give it some credibility.
Finishing your first semester in nursing doing so well (A or B) is something to be proud of . Congratulations!
