Brilliant - even has diagrams explaining what happens in the cells and vessels with electrolyte shifts. I highly recommend it if you find that's a problem for you.
(Yes, even with two years of chemistry, this is just one of those things I have problems with...how embarrassing....)
Feb 4, '08Joined: Nov '06; Posts: 266; Likes: 79Another vote for Saunders, although I will tip my hat to Kaplan for a minute and say that if you can check out their (itty bitty skinny) comprehensive review, the first couple chapters are pretty helpful in just plain learning how to read the questions. You may be able to find it at the library, though, I wouldn't necessarily buy it just for that overview. Saunders is definitely the one to buy.

ISBN-13: 978-0130304575 is a wonderful compliment to any med-surg book and a very helpful study guide and has NCLEX study tools. I would suggest getting the book w/o the vango notes.
