Are there any miscellaneous classes you suggest taking to help with nursing school?

Hi!

I am currently prepping for the nursing program and I was wondering if there were any classes that your school offered that you wish you would have taken, or maybe you did take them, that help with your nursing degree, besides the basic classes that are required for your ADN? I'm currently enrolled in a phlebotomy course and I LOVE it so much and I feel as if it'll help me later in nursing school. I was just curious if there were any other classes you guys might suggest.

Also, I am a few classes away from obtaining my Associates in Science and I was wondering if having my AS would help me obtain my BSN. I know it's a silly question, I'm just curious!

Thanks you guys!!

Medical terminology! That classes wasnt required for my asn but it has helped me TONS.

A nutrition class would also be helpful.

Medical terminology!

I agree with the medical terminology!

I'm taking Pathophysiology even though it's not required for any of the programs I applied to. Just to hopefully get a little bit of a head start on what I've heard is one of the harder classes 1st or 2nd semester of nursing school. I wish I'd signed up for Medical Terminology as well.
