Any recommedations for a recording device for lectures?

  1. Hi everyone,

What kind of recording device would you recommend for lectures? I have a small "hand-held" tape recorder but it is not very clear. I was thinking maybe a digital recorder or some other device. I'm not very aware of all the latest technological devices these days but I'm certainly willing to learn! Any suggestions would be helpful.....thanks!

I purchased the ws 100 olympus digital recorder. I have been using for almost a year now. So, I like it. It has 4 folders, you can record up to 27 hours on low speed. I prefer the HP, which you can record up to 7 hours. HP is very clear. I download the lectures on my laptop. It only runs on one AAA battery, which could last 13 hours. Now, you can get the same one on Amazon or Ebay for less than $60. I highly recommend the Ws-100.
