What is a Policy that you would like to see put into effect

I have always thought if an overwhelming majority who agreed why not put the thought or / idea into effect.(in a perfect world right ).So what is one policy you would like to see put into effect at your place of employment:

Mine: (no bashing intended) I can't stand the smell of cigarette smoke. Therefore, I would love to implement no smoking while in uniform/on duty. There are health care providers who smoke and you would never know. Then there are those who are chain smokers and the smell just penatrates everything. My thought would apply to eateries and grocery stores as well. IF I am going to dine out and I see an employee outside having a cig break, I turn around and leave. It just grosses me out.

So what would your policy be?

Specializes in Critical Care, Pediatrics, Geriatrics.

Assigned parking based on seniority...and not just for the MDs.

This would never happen, but it is a fantasy of mine...

Obnoxious families could be told exactly what to do and where to go.

Realistically? I would love to see our administration back up nurses in regards to patient care / visiting hours. They tend to side with families because of "customer service" when they have no idea of the situation and do not bother to find out.

:specs: Super
