USFCA FNP FALL 2018

Nurses General Nursing

Published

Hello All !!

This is my first post, I am seeking some guidance from former, current or prospective students at USFCA-FNP program. I have a Bachelors in Nursing, currently working in Long Island, NY with just about 2 years medical/surgical experience under my belt. I am looking to apply for the Fall 2018 program. Reaching out to connect with anyone who also applying!! A couple of questions I have:

1. For anyone who has been accepted, any recommendations to increase my chances of getting accepted? What are your undergrad GPA's like, how was the interview? basically what was the process like for you, any tips for future applicants? Congrats to you !!

.

2.For current students: what are your likes and dislikes of the program, would you recommend it? Any tips on what to start working on ahead of time? Are you working (FT/PT)?? Congrats to you also btw !! Almost there..

3.For current applicants- Id like to keep in contact during the process, I know how nerve racking it is and want to offer myself to you. Any questions, venting etc are welcome.

A little background on me: I attended The University at Buffalo school of Nursing, graduated in 2015 w an overall 3.65 undergrad GPA. I was licensed in July, passed the NCLEX w 75 questions after my first try ( remember all those freak outs?) I started working in October and am still at my first job. If accepted, I will be uprooting to California after living in NY my whole life. I am excited and terrified but very motivated.

Any advice is appreciated greatly!! I want to hear it all
