Hello All,

I am new to the site and hope that you guys are able to help me out..

A little background about myself...A new grad, taken Nclex-didnt pass, applied for externship, interview this tuesday...I am so nervous abt the interview because i really want to work at this hospital...i dont know what type of questions to prepare for...do you think it's inapproriate to ask the nurse recruiter what i should be prepared for? Usually, I am a good talker but I get so nervous in situations like these and don't want to give the wrong impressions...can anyone tell me what to expect and maybe what they are looking for

Next, I need a study buddy baddddd. I'm am taking an online review course with ATI and it's taking me so long to get through all the systems...I am just not motivated but I don't want to make the same mistake twice by not preparing..is there anyone in the Atlanta area that wants to study with me...I wanna take the test by the end of December so it would have to be kind of fast pace..

thanks you guys...i hope i get some takers

Possible Questions: Tell me a little about yourself? What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? Why do you want to work for us? Why do you want to work in this department/this area? Why did you choose to be a nurse? Where do you see yourself in five years? Etc. If you are a good talker, you should do fine. The person interviewing you wants to like you, because they have to work with you, so just be yourself and don't take it too seriously. Think of it as meeting someone, not as an interview. Just remember that YOU should also ask questions too so you seem interested in the job and do a little research on the organization with which you are interviewing. And most importantly, try to relax.

I wish I could help you with NCLEX, but I've been out of school for years and I don't live in Atlanta. Good luck!

thanks for your comment
