Yes, I am super excited about it all! Of course, there's that ominously impending "reality shock" to worry about....They don't teach the course "Transition into the Graudate Nurse" for nothin'~!
I would like to think that my transition period/reality shock would be hopefully less threatening because I have worked as en extern in a hospital for about a year, however~~ I will be starting at a new hospital, so that may be setting myself up for a rough patch naturally.
ANy advice as to maneuvering through the shock and transition periods successfully???

Just a note to say that I am sooo excited! I got the job....I got the job in the BEAUTIFUL birthing center that I wanted. I can't believe it. Not even graduated, and I got a job in labor and delivery to work as an extern before I graduate and then into GN/RN orientation.
ATTENTION soon to be NEW GRADS!!! DOn't think that any job is out of your reach and not applying. YOU NEVER KNOW! You may have exactly what they are looking for! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL PENDING GRADUATES!!!
