  1. I started nursing school when I was 34. My 3 children were 12, 9 and 3. Luckily, my husband was and still is very supportive. The children didn't give me a hard time because they knew that when I finished school we would have the money to actually go on vacation which we did. We went to Disney in Floriday for a week and that is just the first of many. Good luck and I am sure all will go well. Remember that there are always people at school that you can speak to if you need it.
  2. The ER is both exciting and interesting. I have been in the ER full time for the past year. Even though the ER that I work in is very small we see just about everything. Wait until you get the one that somes in regularly for suicide attempts. After a while you really want to give them a lession on the correct method. You should go to the area that has jokes, etc. The one titled You work in the ER if........................ These are so funny and soooo real........... Sharon
