Seeking opinions-CA Healthcare Disaster Volunteer

I am seeking opinions about registering for https://www.healthcarevolunteers.ca.gov/ "If you're a healthcare provider with an active license, a public health professional , or a member of a medical disaster response team in California who would like to volunteer for disaster service, you've come to the right place!"

Is anyone here registered for this?

As an aside, I have volunteered to do a flu shot clinic for a public health department in No. CA and they give the option of providing my own Liability Insurance (which I plan to purchase from NSO) or registering with the above state sponsored agency to be legally covered.
