Hello everyone!

After a long battle of getting my grades up, and getting my prereqs... I am finally getting close to applying to SDSU.

My stats:

CUM GPA 3.20 (poor student in the beginning, took 2 years to get it this high)

Cum GPA (last 60 units) 3.73

Pre req GPA 3.45

Volunteer 100+ hours

Teas (no score yet, but studying like crazy)

Now, can anyone please help me, by posting their gpa when they transfered to SDSU? our my stats too low? I've gone this far, and I dont want to give up... but, is it just not gonna happen????

Any help is sooooooooooooo much appreciated!

I graduate in December so I applied with the old requirements... Im not to familiar with the new requirements however a 3.45 GPA in the pre-reqs sounds pretty good, Im sure you will get in.. no worries.

ps. post this in the california section, you may get more replys.

Thanks For getting back to me... I am so nervous!

I know, I was too.. I was so SURE I wouldnt get in.. I think everyone feels that way though...Good Luck!!!

If you don't mind me asking... what was your gpa and teas scores? Did you volunteer? (thank you so much, I really REALLY appreciate it!) :)

Well like I said, when I applied the requirements were different. We didnt have to take the Teas, thank goodness. We also only went by the gpa for the pre-reqs, I had all A's except for a B in like psychology and biology. Make sure you get A's in all the major sciences (O Chem, Micro, Anatomy, Physio).. When I applied, we were allowed to substitute the physio for the Biology grade if we recieved a higher grade for physio.. I dont think they do that anymore.

I did volunteer-- it was required.. 100 hours I beleive. These days isnt it required that you be a CNA or something? And an interview? geesh... like it wasnt hard enough.
