Screaming MD boss

Hi all! I recently found my first dream job as an NP at a private specialty clinic. The MD said at the interview they would train me for at least 3 months. He came across as a nice guy at the interview. When I started I though all of his staff was top notch. My second day at the job, he screamed and cursed at all of the staff because he thought they weren't fast enough. This week I had a question about refilling medications in their EMR system for a patient who was waiting for them after his visit with MD and asked his resident who is supposed to be training me too. I don't know why, the MD saw us talking and lost it. He screamed at us, in front if his staff, calling us all sorts of names (yes, profanities like "****" etc) and said we should be running and checking on patients (but he had only one waiting in the room and was going to see another). He said "you either work here or you don't" we were both silent because he was so upset. He later said I should not take it personally and that his patients are his priority and that everybody needs to get more organized. It was my third week there so everything was still new to me but I thought I was doing a diligent work. I don't think talking to him would help. He seems like someone who screams and then cools off and is a pretty nice guy. I hate to think about looking for another job right now. And if I did - what would I even tell them about my current job? Would love to hear everybody's thoughts.

Doesn't sound like a pleasant working environment and it doesn't sound like it's going to get better. I'd be looking for another job. Obviously, this isn't a good fit.
