I can help, hopefully:
here:
http://www.washington.edu (UW)
http://www.spu.edu/depts/hsc/ (Seattle Pacific University)
http://www.wsna.org/snas/wa/links/ (WA State Nurses Assoc)
http://washington.nursing-schools-programs.com/
http://southseattle.edu/calendar/calmain.htm (South Seattle University)
http://www.seattleu.edu (Seattle University)
Above is just a partial list that may point the person in the right direction--as you know, Seattle is a big place and I have not even covered the South Sound (Tacoma and Olympia). This person can always try my favorite standby website for finding nursing programs nationwide:

Good luck and happy hunting. I am a Seattle-area resident, too!
I also live in Seattle, but I think that SmilingBluEyes covered the bases in Seattle. There's Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, which is 30 minutes south of Seattle http://www.plu.edu/~nurs.
There are also several community colleges. There's Bellevue Community, across Lake Washington from Seattle.
Seattle itself has three community colleges within the city limits. Nursing is offered as well. http://seattlecolleges.com/dynamic.asp
There's Shoreline Community, just north of the city. http://www.shore.ctc.edu/shoreline/index.html
Also, the U of Washington was the first magnet hospital.
Hope this helps!

Hi! A friend of mine would like to change careers and would like to get her RN. She lives in the Seattle area. If anyone can help with any info on programs out there
we would both be extremely appreciative!:)
