I will be moving to FL in the next couple of months. Does anyone know how long it takes to get your FL license when you are transfering.
Does anyone know about nursing jobs around Cape Canaveral? Any info would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I lived in Brevard County for 40 years. Going from North to South, these are the hospitals in the country, and where they are located:
Parrish Medical Center-Titusville
Cape Canaveral Hospital-Cape Canaveral
Wuesthoff Hospital-Cocoa/Rockledge
Holmes Regional Medical Center-Melbourne
Parrish Medical Center is currently finishing construction on a much larger, new hospital. You might want to try there.
These are the nicknames for the hospitals:
Parrish Medical Center
(used to be Jess Parrish)-Just Putrid
Cape Canaveral-Cape Carnival
Wuesthoff-Worstoff
Holmes REgional Medical Center-Horrors Regional Medical Center
The area code down there is 321. Good luck!

apply now!! it takes a while to get a florida license ( 6-8 weeks, so they say). i know someone who works at holmes regional medical center (melbourne)and he loves it. i also know someone who took a travel assignment at wuesthoff hospital-cocoa/rockledge and she really liked it too. best of luck to you. take my advice if you know for sure you are moving soon,...go ahead and apply. fl license are also kinda costly. i paid around $200 for mine. that was 4 years ago when i moved here from al. :)
