I was a CA in PACU. We had a young (30's) male who came in for some type of minor ortho surgery. He woke up from anesthesia speaking broken Spanish and French. His 1st language was fluent English though. He kept saying that his wife spoke English and could translate for him if the PACU staff didn't understand English. She was just as amused as we were. The RN would re-orient him and he would start speaking in clear English again. He laughed about it once he was fully recovered from anesthesia.

I was helping with a vasectomy and a 1st year resident was observing. The resident vagaled and his head almost landed in the patients junk. If that weren't bad enough, the patient was under light sedation and made fun of the resident who was lying on the ground next to him for the rest of the procedure.
