One month on the job

Nurses General Nursing

WOW! One month has gone by quickly! I love this hospice job so much! While there is LOTS of paperwork I really enjoy the job.

After reading some of the post here I realize how much I DON'T miss the hospital setting.

Our medical director is a wonderful MD! He answers my questions without making me feel 2 foot tall! The Nurse Manager (for the lack of a better title) has been so nice...she and I have a good working relationship and it has made a difference in my world!

For those who are miserable....get out while you still love what you do! I am glad I did!

And today I was made the liasion with one of the local children hospital! WOO HOO! I am not as bad as my former Nurse Manager made me out to be! :roll

That's great Wendy - enjoy every minute of it!

Good for you Wendy! It's nice to hear some happy news for once.

Hope you continue to love your job. Your success gives the rest of us hope. ;)

:balloons: I'm so happy for you Wendy! I'm looking forward to January when I can leave my job...hopefully for something and someplace better that treats their nurses like human beings instead of maidservants and doormats.
