nursing semesters

Nurses General Nursing

Published

I'm beginning the clinical part of the nursing (bsn) program in Aug. A few people have said that the 1st semester is killer, so does it get easier after that or worse? Thanks.

It gets a lot easier! The first semester I was in school I literally said that I wanted to quit every week. Things are just very disorganized and you get so much thrown at you; however, as the months go by you get a system down and papers, projects, etc. seem to get done with ease. I thought my easiet semester was Community Health. Just learn to rely on your classmates and set up study groups if you can. My classmates were the number one reason that I made it through each day. Also, don't hesitate to go to your professors for help. They are suppose to be there to help you succeed and not to see you fail. I hope this helps! Keep your head up!
