Nursing medications

Nurses General Nursing

Hi all. I found this site that listed all of the suffixes and prefixes of meds and their classes, and examples of the meds and it was pretty helpful. It made it easier for me to study meds

It didn't list too many though, and it didn't list side effects, nursing considerations/contraindications, dosages for each group ..

I tried to search for some that have meds grouped by classes, and list everything I mentioned above, but I couldn't find any.

It'd be easier for me to study and learn. I'm a visual learner and kinesthetic learned due to hearing loss in my R ear. Seeing a list would be helpful for me, a chart of them listed by classes, suffixes, prefixes, side effects, etc., helps me better know them and understand them

I know a few side effects and what SOME of the meds action of mechanisms are. I think I'd learn faster and better if they were in a table grouped and what not, not individually.

Thank you, I'd greatly appreciate it

Why don't you make your own groupings and lists? You might even learn quite a bit while you're making them.

I stated above I don't learn that way. I've tried it that way. Everyone has a different method of learning. Thanks.

Have you tried YouTube? Just glancing through, I see several that group meds by body system, give hints about suffixes, side effects, etc.
