No Work for a New Grad any Suggestions

Hi Everybody...

Well I've finally done it...just completed my BscN in Nursing but still haven't written the Canadian Registration exam, and much to my shock nobody will even hire me for casual work. I've applied to about 15 hospitals in the London, Mississauga, Toronto and Kingston areas and haven't heard anything, and I'm starting to get a bit frustrated. If any Ontario nurses out there know of anywhere thats hiring new grads please tell me.

I have also been toying with the idea of going down to the United States because it seems work is quite plentiful down there. I just attended my grad formal where I saw all my other peers and it seems that a good 30% of them are heading south due to the lack of employment here. If anyone has any suggestions I greatly appreciate it:o

Good Lord, yes!! Come to the U.S. You can work anywhere & do just about any kind of nursing you want .
