New student needing research help!

Hi,

I am a new student and am trying to find information about the history of capping ceremonies for a report at school. I have searched several places and cannot find a good article.

Also, how do I note the online references, something to do with apa?

Oh, golly, you're not going to get an APA course in here. Get thee to the manual. PERRLA is a good program to get but you still need the manual.

Googling "nursing capping ceremony" only brought out 585,000 hits.

It sounds like you don't know what apa is.

APA is the American Psychological Association, and their publication manual is a standard reference for correct format when writing papers. You should be able to find an APA Manual at your college bookstore, and/or in your school library.

Here's a good online source about APA Style. I think the manual is very poorly organized and written and it's very confusing to me.
