Lipitor questions

How often should a person on Lipitor have liver enzymes checked? Any idea what a person should watch out for as far as symptoms of side effects? PS Yes I had quick look at insert, however I find people that have real experience with the drug have better info.

6 weeks after starting, than 6 months, if no probs yearly. Side effects are stomach stuff, muscle cramping/pain. If your going to start on it ask for a prescrition for pepcid 20 mg qd, otc is too exspensive, also take it at night ot reduce the stomach upseting
