I took a semester (Crim I, Torts, Contracts) many years ago, then decided it wasn't for me.
My friend did complete her BSN then got her JD. She was head of the BON for a few years in her state; is now doing bedside nursing, for the flexible hours w/her family.
If you're asking if it can be done, or if anyone has ever done it, the answer is YES. Good luck to you!
I think it's a great combination. Here in Chicago Loyola University offers a combination MSW/JD degree you can take after your NP ... you'd be heading a hospital I would think, or CEO or something.
I look at this program and think, OMG, I'm never getting done with school. But that's what I want to do, eventually.
There's also risk management and legal nurse consultants. if you want to do law school post-BSN, go for it. You will find something to suit you, and probably make a ton of money in the process. Go for it.

Has anyone out there been to law school after nursing? I was thinking maybe going after I get my BSN. Which is a long.................. way away. Just want ideas of what you can do. THanks
