Interview questions for PCU nurse intern position..

Nurses General Nursing

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've written on the boards..but I have a question! I have an interview tomorrow morning for a student nurse intern position on a PCU floor. What sort of questions should I be prepared to answer? I really want this position to prepare me for graduation! Also, I want to (luckily) find an ICU that will take me as a new grad as well...do you think that working on a PCU floor will help?

THanks so much!

Typically interview questions are asking for you to give an example of when some situation happend and how you handled it. Ex. "Give me an example of a time where you had a family/patient/customer that was really upset, and what did you do about it?" And many other similar questions. They won't be questions testing your clinical knowledge, they will be questions to help them decide how well you are going to fit in on the unit. Then again, you did say this was for an internship, so they could be a little different. But these are the questions most people are asking when looking to hire someone.
