Indiana Nursing Job Availabilities???

Nurses General Nursing

Dear Indiana Allnurses Siblings :)

I am hoping my Indiana Allnurses Siblings can share with me what you know about the job possibilities for nurses in Indianapolis, IN as I will soon be a resident of Indiana, and will be in the market for a nursing position.

I will need a RN refresher course, or a hospital that is willing to hire me as a RN who has been inactive in nursing for the past five years. Any help you can offer me will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so very very much,

Cheerfuldoer.....Renee :kiss

Hi Susan

I'm so looking forward to my new adventure in Indiana. It's nice to know that at age 50 I can still look forward to a new start in life. :) God is good......oh so good indeed! I know I will bounce back, recover from this transitional period in my life, and be wiser and better because of it all. ;) I am looking forward to meeting all of my Allnurses siblings who reside there in the Hoosier state. Nighty night......until tomorrow sometime.....much love, :kiss

I have lived in the Hoosier state my whole life and don't know what "cabbaging on" means. Someone please explain. Thanks.

have no idea what cabbaging means... had to ask what catty wumpus meant but none of my friends or family knew!!!! thankfully, a woman in applebees overheard the conversation and enlightened us with the definition. :D

p.s. dees, my family and friends loved your list!;)

I've lived here my whole life too, and I have no idea what "cabbaging on" means either! ;)

Will you be here in time for hayrides? :D

We can go cow-tipping any time! ;)

"Cabbaging on" means to acquire something same as "Glom on" in other places. Example: "I'm going over to the truck stop and cabbage on to some of that good meatloaf they serve on Tuesdays". It's a pretty old Hoosier expression but still used.

Thanks Jon for explaining what "cabbaging on" means. I'll put that phrase into practice when I become a Hoosier. ;) :chuckle

ERNurse...Tricia......I LOVE HAYRIDES!!! Wow! Sure sounds like I am going to be having a hayride of a good time in Indy when I move there! I can hardly wait to get started! :D :kiss

I am guessing cabbaging is like when you get your hands on something you have been looking for.....I cabbaged onto it?????????? Is this correct?

can Buckeyes come too?
