IV Antibiotics? If prepared by the pharmacy it would be 24 hours, Check the label.

Prepared by the manufacturer, probably a year, Check the label.

Antibiotic skin cleanser? Check the bottle.

Tripple antibiotic solution. It comes in a bottle you normally moisten gauze with it then pack a wound.

I still say Check the label/bottle for the expiration date!

No, I did. I work homehealth, and I just threw out a pt's half empty bottle of TAS coz the date was expired. I just had a sudden thought at home this am that maybe the date said 2009 :eek:

But I don't think any TAS is good for a whole year, so it must have been this year. I just wanted so reasurance (sp?)
