How to shift into medicine

I'm a nursing student in Egypt and i'm doing really good, my faculty is accredited, I want to have a degree in medicine and I heared it might be possible after having some form of the american board exams, how far is that true and what are my options ?

It's possible if you go to medical school. It is not possible if you go to nursing school.

I know I must go to medical school but what are the prep. I should do and woutdoor I enroll in the first year or I may skip a a year or two ?

I'm a nurse. I don't know the requirements for medical school. However, you will need a bachelor's degree, the MCAT, volunteer experience, a ridiculously high GPA , great references, and several prerequisite courses (biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, etc....not sure what's all required). I'm sure there are other things, but, again, not a doctor.

Are you talking about going to medical school in the US, or are you saying that you've heard that US nursing licensure would give you an advantage in getting into medical school in Egypt? That's not clear to me from your post. I have no idea how medical education works in Egypt. If you're talking about medical school in the US, being a nurse does not give you any advantage or "short cuts" in medical school here. There are lots of places to find the info about the prerequisites for US medical schools. You would have to have an undergraduate degree, complete all the specific courses med schools require, and take and do well on the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test), which is tough. Medical school admissions are incredibly competitive here.

If you want to go into medicine, why spend time and money on a nursing degree?
