How long did it take you to hear back from phone interview?

Hi everyone,

I had a phone interview Tuesday and the recruiter did not say how long it would take to hear back from the hiring manager. How long did it take you all to hear from a hiring manager after a phone interview? Also, for anyone who has gotten hired at UH in Ohio about how long would you say it took to hear back from them after you applied online? My phone interview was with Cleveland Clinic.

Thanks,

Hopeless

I would send an email. "Thank you so much for the opportunity to interview with _____________. I was impressed at the level of professionalism on the unit, and would look forward to becoming part of the team.

Was curious as to when a potential decision would be made on hiring. I look forward to hearing from you (and then leave your contact information)"

I would send to the manager of the unit, and cc the recruiter.

Good luck and best wishes!

Thank you. I don't have the email to the hiring manager. I only interviewed with the recruiter and he will forward my info to a manager

I went to a hiring event, and received an interview with a nurse manager on two different units. I went to the first, was interviewed by three NM's and ANM's. I had a job offer 1.5 days later.

Others I know did the phone interview and never got another interview.

Others had a phone interview, then got several NM interviews, sometimes it took up to two weeks to hear back about an offer. They should let you know either way, though.

Thank you both. I have bee looking for hiring events but none have come up here recently. There was one at my school about 2 months before I graduated that I went to. I had my limited permit but the lady at Cleveland Clinic and UH would not take my resume! I asked if I could just give it to them to hang on to for future positions and they said no. I needed to have my license. Guess I just gotta keep trying
