I have read that it is completely safe to get the vaccine while pregnant, but wanted to know if any of y'all actually received the vaccine while pregnant. I am 17 weeks and need to get it for nursing school. Thanks

Specializes in ICU.

Have you spoken to your MD about this? What is his/her opinion?

I haven't talked to my general doctor or OB yet. I was just putting some feelers out there first.

Your OB and/or PCP are the people you really need to discuss this with.

For general information on vaccines, you can visit www.immunize.org, which is a website sponsored by the CDC with vaccine information statements.

Good luck, both in pregnancy, and in school.
