Can anyone offer some clarifications on alcoholics suffering from impotence and eyrthemia of the palms? I'm looking at the how and why here. I know that it's all connected, but I'm interested in the physical relations. I'm sure it's not too complicated- but I'm just too tired today to figure it out myself! Can anyone help?

Thank you P_RN. I figured it was in relation to the liver, but couldn't quite get the connections. I never thought of Google. Well- here's the million doller question: once these symptoms begin to appear- would it be safe to assume that there is definate damage to the liver? And at what point would this damage become irreversable? (Assuming that the drinking habits don't change)
