Hello all,

I like to get right into things and see how things work, and what things are. I sometimes forget the intro's. So I supose it is time to introduce myself to this forum. I live and work in a small community where every one knows your name, so that is why I sometimes forget the formalities of introductions.

I'm nursedora. I'm from northern NY. I work in a short staffed, busy nursing home, as do many of you do. I also volunteer my time as an EMTD-Basic and Fire Fighter.

I am passionate in what I believe in. I don't care who's feet I step on. I have the motto "If you can't stand the heat..." I am diplomatic when I have to be. But I feel any one should have the right to voice their opinions without fear of ridicule.

I hope to make some new friends here. Are any of you Native American? I'd like to meet some Native American Nurses. I recently found proof of being Native and have a peace I never thought possible. :)
