September of this year RN magazine has great burnout article under it's Ethics in Action section. Here are some of the statements they make. YES, Burnout is an ethical issue. Employers have a ethical duty not to exploit!!!!!! You have an ethical duty to care for yourself!! Set limits and take a break! For all you dear sweet nurses out there who are struggling.
