And if I couldn't work at NIH or CDC, my next wish would be to work as a travel nurse in Europe. That's something I may one day be able to accomplish!

My dream job would be maybe 2 eight hour shifts in a well managed cath lab or Ep lab with no weekends or holidays. Better yet would be to stay home..... I can dream right?
i'll try that on for size...yup , it fits !

Put me down for 4 twelves a week, at night especially weekends, in the busiest level 1 trauma center in the nation. I love the pace and autonomy of a big ER.

However, I'd have to live in one of the Nation's biggest, most expensive, most crime-ridden cities.... that would take the shine off the "dream".

I'd love to be a community nurse, somewhere warm, and preferably near a beach. I'd travel from patient to patient in a soft top, something cheeky like a new VW Beetle, and my patients would offer me iced lemonade and coconut macaroons!

In between patients I would stop along the beach and have ice cream and just take time to chill and watch the waves!

Of course all these coconut macaroons and ice cream would make me very fat

I'm blessed enough to be working in a position that's as close to a dream job as you can get. But if I were to win the next Powerball, I'd buy my assisted living facility outright, manage it myself, and upgrade it.........I'd make the apartments bigger and have more amenities, such as walk-in whirlpool baths in every unit, a 40-hour-a-week activities director, more caregivers on each shift, in-house physical and occupational therapists, massage therapy, special programs for our residents with dementia, "house" cats and dogs, plants and an aquarium in the lobby, and plenty of entertainment.
I want to work some where warm, community nursing would be nice. This way I can drive around in a little sports carwith the top down, eat lunch at the beach...Se' la Vie.... Oh, and when I retire I want to go here A walk in whirlpool bath sounds wonderful!
