wear support socks? These 48 yr old legs on 12 hr shifts need some help!!!!! It's all new to the poor ole things!

I found large TED hose at Walgreen's. Large/regular.

I know it is crazy but every chance you get prop up your legs-never cross them at the knees- I wear the knee high support socks and make sure you have good support shoes like nikes or merrills something that gives when you walk. And don't forget to exercise at home. I'll be 48 thursday and I'm new at this also! I just go to karate class and kick butt for exercise and frustration control! I think it is great that as we get older we canb change our minds about what we want to be when we grow up!

I'm also plus size I get my queen size support socks from Lydia's uniforms on the web.

I still have the thigh-high TEDs they put on me in the hospital after my hysterectomy 5 yrs ago! Are those good? Today I bought some Nursemates support socks. Aren't hose too warm??
